Congratulations! With proper care, your furniture should provide years of dependability and beauty. The items displayed in our showroom represent the fit, finish, tailoring and quality of the merchandise you will soon receive. Keep in mind that with leather, stone, tile and wood products, each piece is truly unique and one of a kind.
Customer Pickup Policy: Once your order arrives, we’ll call to schedule a time for you to pick up your furniture. We are pleased to assist you in the loading of your products, but Harris Furniture will not be held liable for any damage to the merchandise or vehicle that is being loaded. It is your responsibility to ensure that your goods are properly loaded and secured. Please bring the materials needed to secure and protect these items. We cannot be responsible for any damage after leaving the premises. Your signature will verify your acknowledgement of receipt in good condition. We strongly recommend that you open and inspect the item(s) before leaving.
Delivery Service Policy: Our delivery department will call to schedule your delivery. Trucks are routed by geographical area; therefore, we cannot offer an exact time of delivery. We give approximate times only. Please arrange to be home or have a responsible adult (18 and older) there to accept and sign for the delivery. Due to insurance restrictions, we cannot enter your property if an adult is not present. A second fee may be accessed if there is no one home to accept the scheduled delivery. Customer agrees that Harris Furniture employees or contractors hired by Harris will NOT be liable for any damage that may occur to the home or property during delivery – including, but not limited to - flooring, walls, railing, doors, doorways, ceilings, etc. Customer will ensure that furniture will fit through all entry points prior to delivery and paths are unobstructed and clear of existing furniture or any other items. Customer is to make sure that any breakables are properly stored or covered and have removed pieces from walls, covered flooring, stairs, ceilings, etc. to prevent damage. Additionally, please keep children or pets secure during the delivery to prevent injury. Delivery charges are non-refundable
Order Policy: Many items are ordered at time of purchase. Due to possible delays in manufacturing and shipping delivery dates, time frames are only a guideline and actual order times may vary. We strive to accurately order all merchandise but from time to time a piece(s) is not ordered. In such case the customer is responsible to pay for the balance (if any) of the ordered piece(s). Harris Furniture will order the correct model and make in good faith but will not be held liable for any changes during manufacturing, including dye lot variations or minor discrepancies.
Cancellation Policy: Furniture is specially ordered from the manufacturer or reserved in the warehouse for you at time of purchase. As such we do not allow any refunds. Any changes to your order after the completion of the sale and acknowledgement of the terms will result in a cancellation fee equaling 50% of the total invoice with the remaining balance issued as in-store credit only. All sales of not in stock item(s), special order item(s) or custom order items cannot be changed or returned for refund, exchange, or credit. No exceptions.
Return Policy: Once furniture is in your possession, all sales are considered final. Due to the nature of the order process, we do not allow any return or reselection of merchandise. No refunds will be allowed under any circumstance.
Warranty/Defects: Harris Furniture stands behind its products and is here to address any concerns that you may have with your purchase. Warranty cards detailing specific coverages are located on pieces throughout our showroom.
Returned Checks Policy: Returned or Insufficient funds checks will incur a $75.00 charge.
